About Bette and Carey – adoption pending
Bette and Carey came to GVAC at different times. Carey arrived with his brother but those two stopped getting along so his brother found a new home as an agility bunny and Carey fell in love with Bette. This male/female pair is inseparable. They enjoy human company, tolerate being picked up and like nose scratches. Bette is also very patient with being groomed as this is necessary with her luscious locks!
We have tried this pair as indoor bunnies but they do seem much happier outside where they can listen to the birds and sleep in the sun. They probably could be transitioned inside but would require consistent work with litter training. Plus they love to dig!
They are not bothered by the resident cats or dog but are not so fond of other bunnies. I think Bette gets jealous!
