Rabbit Agreement and Application
Please answer the following questions before deciding on your potential rabbit. We try to ensure the best possible match between animal and adopter. Remember that this is a lifetime commitment, and rabbits live an average of 8-10 years. Upon adoption, you will pay the adoption fee. All adult rabbits come spayed or neutered. If not yet mature, the surgery is required to be done as soon as they are mature. Failure to spay/neuter the animals will result in the animal(s) being reclaimed by the Rescue. The adoption fee goes directly to GVAC Rescue to help pay for up keep and medical care, and is non- refundable. Prospective adopters need to be 19 years of age.
If for any reason, you cannot keep your rabbit(s) it must be returned to GVAC; do not try to re-home it yourself.
Please be advised that we will not adopt rabbits to homes that intend to keep them housed primarily outdoors (unless otherwise specified by GVAC Rescue) or in wire-bottom cages.
Indoor Rabbit Adoption Fee: $50 (includes spay or neuter and vet check; which is already done) and $100 for a pair.
Outdoor Rabbit Adoption Fee: $25 (includes spay or neuter and vet check; which is already done)
