About Daisy and Pi

Meet Daisy and Pi. Both are very friendly and high-energy cats. They need space to run and play; they are not apartment cats. They also need their people around and would not be happy being left alone every workday. Daisy is quite the comic and entertains her Foster’s with her antics. She will need a lot of toys to keep her busy. Daisy will need a cat friend; she loves to play with her housemate Pi and these two would be great in a home together. They do not sleep together or groom each other but love to play with each other. They are OK with cat savvy, calm dogs and would be OK with older children. Because of Daisy’s energy and her spunk she likely wouldn’t be a good fit with other younger kids. She is not a lap cat but does love to snuggle on her terms and will follow her people around the house so that she can just be in the same room with them.

Pi is very friendly but a little more reserved and takes a little while to warm up to people but when she does, she will follow her people around the house like a dog. She is very playful. She also needs her people around-she would not be happy being left alone every workday. Pi would love to find a home with her housemate Daisy and these two would be great in a home together. And she has the cutest little bobtail!

About Starsky

Starksy-You are probably wondering whom this handsome striking cat is. Well he is approximately a 12 year old male model. He comes with a super soft coat and does seem to shed much. He loves to have a cuddle nap once an a while and will happily sleep in on the end of the bed with out disturbing you at all.

He’s a pro bird watcher and people watcher through the windows around him. I will see him quite often chasing his tail in circles trying to catch it then giving it a good groom, like he finally realizes it’s attached. He rarely talks and when he does it’s meaningful as well as cute because he really tries to find his voice but you can hardly hear it.

He’s a mellow cat and loves the company of people. Not sure about young kids and he wasn’t a huge fan of a friends dog but did tolerate.

Quirks- He does sneeze once in an while. When he does sneeze, he opens his mouth to try breathe and then sneezes.
History- His owners said he was a stray for a few months and came back home with a beign tumour on his shoulder which the the owners then decided to give him up. Tumour is removed and he’s a happy cat with lots of love.

Starksy would make a great addition to any lovely quiet home, to chill and relax with lots of chin rubs. Purr’s will be included in this package deal.

About Patty

Patty is a lovely little round tabby who would prefer to be the only cat in her castle. She likes attention from her humans on her own terms. When she has had enough she does give warnings with her body language. She would do best in a quiet home with an owner who understands cat behaviour. This little lady deserves a second chance. DSH

About Viola

She is sweet and mellow and loves people – wants to laze in the sun and sleep her days away.  She is cuddly and enjoys the company of her person.

Viola is looking for a companion who will dote on her forever.  She was left behind when her owners moved and the new owner did his best to look after he but she needed more help than he could provide.  That’s where GVAC stepped in and got her to a vet and treated for a terrible flea allergy and resulting skin infection.  Consequently, this girl would be best to spend the rest of her days indoors.

Please consider making Viola a part of your family!

About Molly – adoption pending

Sweet Molly is a content and happy cat.  She enjoys her quiet time when home alone but once her people are home, she loves to visit with them.  Molly enjoys treats and hanging out in the kitchen…although she could probably lose a wee bit of weight! She doesn’t mind being groomed and is fine having her ears cleaned and nails trimmed.

Molly would do well in a quiet home; she would probably be fine with another older cat.
